So... Why Do You Need a Blogger?

You have a successful business or a recognised brand or message.  So what more can blogging offer you?

Blogs are a terrific opportunity to draw new customers or fans, re-engage existing customers, and make you more competitive in your field.  However, the best blogs – and the ones with the most chance of helping you reap all those benefits:
  • Post around 15 times per month
  • Have a clear tone that supports the ‘feel’ of your business or message
  • Engage with the wider issues of your field
  • Could have a variety of guest bloggers
So blogging could be a valuable marketing strategy for you.

The  only question left to ask yourself is – with all your other responsibilities – do you have time to create all this content?  Do you even want to write it yourself?  And follow it through on social media channels?

The answer may well be no.  You are no doubt busy with the day-to-day particulars of your business.  Not to mention ways to expand and improve it!

A professional blogging service allows you to focus on core business, while blogs can be produced according to your needs and your clientele.

All you need do is communicate your needs to your blogger, and he or she will make a variety of suggestions for pieces that can then be submitted to you on a regular basis.  No need to worry if you can meet deadlines, or research relevant statistics – all this research can be carried out by someone with experience in this kind of work.

You set the goals, the tone and the subject matter.  We create the content.

Ever heard the expression “content is king”? Great content is a necessity for a successful blog.  It’s what keeps them reading each time something new is posted.  You need an experienced professional to ensure your blog is a must-read.  And a must-read blog post keeps web users on your site for longer, and makes them more likely to look at other pages such as mailing lists or product prices.

When looking for a professional blogger, look for someone whose work you can read samples of.  Then you can see whether they are a good match for the tone of your website. Choose someone witty or compelling – or both. And while it may be tempting to hire freelance bloggers from overseas for 1 cent per word, when it comes to writing, the old adage “you get what you pay for” is true.  Choose someone local, who understands your market and is fluent in the language of your customers.  Your investment – and indeed your business – deserves the very best.
